The Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of the “Dale Jones Memorial Fund"...

For the past 16 years, the Loveuntil Foundation has provided opportunities for youth to achieve their best by sponsoring applicants, making contributions, and raising money to champion many important causes.

To fittingly commemorate the memory of our dearly beloved Mr. Dale Jones, we have decided to include something that he was truly passionate about, i.e. education and learning. For this reason, the Dale Jones Memorial Fund would consist of a scholarship component.

Award Description

Dale Jones scholarship committee will award scholarships valued at 5,000.00 – along with mentorship training to (2) students from any one participating school.

Application Deadline

All applications forms with supporting documents outlined in (II) Criteria/Eligibility above must be submitted by each student/applicant to the Dale Jones Scholarship committee in electronic format via email to loveuntilfoundation@yahoo.com.

Purpose

The Dale Jones Scholarship Award is intended to bring to financial assistance to students enrolled in secondary school. The objective of the award is to support those students who are committed to excellence in their academic studies and can demonstrate evidence of such.

Criteria/Eligibility

Applicants are asked to meet or fulfill the following criteria to be considered eligible:

  1. Applicants must be a registered fourth or fifth form student enrolled in one of the participating Secondary Schools.
  2. Proven academic performance of each applicant evidenced by the submission of copies of end of term grade report for the last academic year (3 terms) and/ or copies of awards for academic excellence or extracurricular activities.
  3. Two (2) references to accompany each application form. Should NOT be from family members but rather from individuals from applicant’s community, church, or any other group to which they belong.
  4. A personal essay from each student/applicant about themselves and their goals. No less than 300 words, typed 12pt. font and 1.5-line spacing.
  5. One passport sized photo or any other suitable headshot photograph of each applicant.
  6. Completed Dale Jones Scholarship Application form with affixed school stamp.
